Every February, readers from across the Deep South make their way to Savannah's Historic District for the city's annual book festival. What better way to make the journey together with your book club than with professional charter bus rentals that can seat up to 57 bookworms?

Scheduled from February 5 to 8 in 2026, venues are spread among historic churches, theatres, and public spaces. The book festival transforms downtown Savannah into a lively hub of author-led book readings, panel discussions, and signing events sprinkled with plenty to do, experience, and even eat between presentations.

Typically, three to four headliners (to be announced) are each given 45 minutes to give a presentation on their work, their creative process, and their life as a writer. This is followed by a Q&A and book signing at the Lucas Theatre for the Arts.

If your book club, writing group, or school organization is planning to attend, renting a charter bus from MTI Limo and Shuttle Services can make the experience far more organized and enjoyable. Instead of coordinating multiple vehicles or navigating Savannah’s one-way streets with several rental cars, your group can move together in comfort, leaving the stress of traffic and navigation behind.

Official venues include the Jepson Center, the Ben Tucker Theatre, the Trinity United Methodist Church, and the Savannah Cultural Arts Center. Event organizers always caution you to leave plenty of time to park and get to the venue. Meanwhile, some of the recommended accommodations include Hotel Bardo Savannah, Hampton Inn, and Holiday Inn Express.

Parking in Savannah’s Historic District can be challenging, especially during major events like this one with venues scattered across the downtown area. Our team can help you map out the best routes, pick up, and drop off points before hand, you’ll spend less time riding, and more time reading and listening. And, with a bus with a 57-bag capacity, you’ll have plenty of room for those new books you’ll undoubtedly want to come home with.

Here are some of the other features and amenities of MTI’s charter bus rentals:

• Up to 57 passengers
• On-board Wi-Fi
• LCD screens
