5 Halloween Activities to do in Atlanta This Year

5 Things to Do in Atlanta this Halloween

MTI Limo and Shuttle Services provides luxury chauffeur services year-round. A big night for us is Halloween, when our clientele like to go all out in many cases, in search of adventures on the Hallow’s Eve.

We’re not mad at that. As a matter of fact, it’s a responsible decision to make MTI Limo your ride this Halloween. Here are 6 ideas for Halloween festivities that will make this year one to remember.

1.) Clubesque Halloween Show

This event happens October 31, from 7p to Midnight at Ponce City Market (City Winery).

This year, City Winery will transform into Studio 54 — all for a one night Halloween extravaganza. The event is hosted by celeb Atlanta drag queen Nicole Paige Brooks. Attendees can see/hear live music, dance the night away, experience captivating drag performances, burlesque show, aerialists, and even contortionists.

2.) Lawrenceville Ghost and Haunted Cemetery Tours

If you have a craving for the supernatural, you can experience this activity through the end of October at the Aurora Theater. You’ll hear storytellers tell paranormal tales while scoping out suspenseful spots (like the old jail). A guided tour will help take you make smart choices as you navigate the haunted cemetary. You’re almost sure to see a ghost!

3.) Atlanta Horror Film Festival

From October 19 to 22 you can check out this indie film showcase at the Synchronicity Theatre to celebrate the best works of the genre. You’ll also get to have a say in who wins the audience choice award.

4.) Day of the Dead Halloween Party

Looking to do something a little more cultural this Hallow’s Eve season? Go to this Mexican-inspired party complete with flamenco dancers, stilt walkers, and a whole lot of mezcal and tequila. Enjoy spooky games and amazing food.

5.) Costumes on the Woof

This October 26 at 6p at the Loews Atlanta Hotel you can bring your little bear to show off their costume at this annual rooftop benefit hosted by the LifeLine Animal Project. Compete in (or simply enjoy) the dog costume contest (this year judged by celebrity dog whisperer Victoria Stillwell). There are complimentary cocktails, a fun-filled photo booth, as well as a silent auction.

If you do all of these things this Halloween, not only will you have an amazing time, but you’ll have a well-rounded, complete experience of what Atlanta has to offer in the Fall season.
