Job Information

MTI Limousine and Shuttle Services Ground Transportation Company continues to grow, and we have an opening for a Diesel Shop Foreman at our College Park, GA location. The role of the Diesel Service Foreman is to exercise direct supervision of hourly personnel. Assist with diagnosis of mechanical difficulties, recommending needed repairs, greeting customers, writing repair orders and estimating the costs of repairs within set guidelines.

Job Responsibilities

  • Supervises service and maintenance technicians. Schedules and assigns work as required.
  • Checks and reviews work in process and follow-up for completion as scheduled.
  • Inspects and, road tests vehicles upon completion of work.
  • Administers warranty, keeping the Service & Maintenance Managers advised of all warranty in process.
  • Assures that all necessary information pertaining to warranty and policy claims are obtained and recorded on the repair order.
  • Performs productive work as required.
  • Informs General Manager of all customer complaints so they may be handled before the vehicle leaves the shop.
  • Knowledgeable of DOT Rules Regulations.
  • Assists in maintaining a clean shop area and making sure that standards and special tools and shop equipment are in proper operating condition.
  • Ensures that the shop equipment is kept in good working order and clean condition and that any hazardous materials are stored appropriately as required by the Occupational Safety and Health Act.

Requirements

  • CDL Driver Licenses Class B with P endorsement
  • Supervises service and maintenance technicians. Schedules and assigns work as required.
  • Checks and reviews work in process and follow-up for completion as scheduled.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
  • Possess a combination of education and technical experience including a minimum of 3 years diesel service and fleet experience
  • ASE Diesel Certifications Strongly Preferred
